The components can be created from a wide variety of sources. Working with this library type is useful for creating frequently used components and reusing them in all other library types. It is irrelevant whether it concerns turning or milling specific tool components. The tool component library offers the possibility to include and structure different tool components like adapters, tool holders, It does not matter whether the components are based on 2D sketches or 3D models - the combination possibilities are almost unlimited. While in previous SolidCAM versions different tool tables had to be created for milling, turning, or mill-turn, in SolidCAM 2021 it is possible to combine all tool components in global libraries, independent of the machining type. In SolidCAM 2021 the Toolkit is built on a total of 3 different library types that finally merge into the part tool catalog.

Question: "How is SolidCAM Toolkit database structured?"
